The flower wreath

Yesterday I went to see my sister in the countryside. She lives a big and beautiful house outside of Höör with her husband and her children. I brought three white dresses with me and photographed each child in water. The sun was just about to set and for 20 minutes I just had the perfect light to create that mysterious atmosphere. I love photographing Asti, Siri and Tage and if I have a new idea I like to try it on them first. I love their curiosity for making images and their complete trust in me. Sometimes I wonder how they will remember their aunt when they are all grown up. I know that they see me as something between a child and an adult and I think that is beautiful. Today I took the time to create one image from the shoot and I also uploaded it to photovogue where it not only was accepted but also selected as best of. There will be more pictures as soon as I can find the time for it.

LOVE season

I'm in the middle of wedding season and I'm so busy. If I am not out photographing I am at home editing. This one is a personal favorite from last Saturdays wedding at Örenäs slott. I love the tilt shift lens I got a few weeks ago and I am planning on using it on all the weddings in the future.

A preview from fantasy land

I'm in fantasy land also known as Norway. I feel like any moment Frodo is gonna run by or I'm gonna bump into Jon Snow. I'm traveling with one of my best friends and on the different hikes we are doing we stop now and then to create these kind of photos. It's my first time in this country and I am loving it!

A lazy day in a national park

In an hour I will be on a bus to Norway and in less than 24 h I will be with my dear friend Madde in Geiranger. I'm longing for mountains and wilderness, I'm longing to be creative and make images. 

The other day I went to Skäralid, which is a national park in my region and got a small taste of what my trip might look like. Nature...bring it on :)

Not a great day for sailing

On midsummer's day I went sailing with my friends Benny and Karolina. It was not a great day for sailing but it was very refreshing and I loved how wild the ocean was. I'm hoping to be able to tag along again when the weather makes it possible for us to further out and for a longer time with Maråni.

FRIDA

Some weeks ago I did this test shoot in Malmö with Frida TW from Sweden Models. I styled her in garments and jewelry that I was able to lend from the online vintage store Odd lovin' I wanted to keep it really natural so I hardly used any make-up. Back in the days I did a lot of these kind of photoshoots and Frida reminded me of how fun it is to be creative without no real purpose or client. 

Midsummer in Hörja

How different life can be just from one year to another. Now that my mind is not clouded I can see the beauty around me, how summer brought everything back to life. The smallest thing brings a smile to my face and I can feel it comes from within, it's pure. I surround myself with people I care for and then you get happiness in return. I am working a lot, don't think I ever been this busy in spring and beginning of summer ever before. The confirmation I get from clients is just wonderful. It's like we are exchanging positive energy and it's a constant reminder of why I love doing what I do.

The other day I celebrated midsummer in a beautiful house in the countryside. This last year there is especially two women that have, in a lovely way, come into my life and this day I got to spend it in the company of both of them. First there is Minna, who together with her husband and daughter lives in this wonderful house you see below. She has an online vintage store called Odd Lovin'. I adore her and since we share the same love for vintage we sometimes do these photography projects together. I am looking forward in getting to know her even better, she has a beautiful soul. 

Then there is Karolina that I met in a park in Malmö a little bit more than a year ago. Our love for horses was the first thing that made us connect but it turned out to be so much more that we have in common. We share the same morals in life and we have the same kind of humor. Karolina makes me laugh a lot and she is important to me. She speaks her mind, we don't always agree but our conversations is always a fresh breath of air. Lately I started taking photos of her and midsummer was no exception. Minna styled her in true Odd lovin' flair and we went around in the surroundings close to the house. I love being creative and especially when it's together with two people I like so much. I had such a wonderful Midsummer...
