Luang Prabang
In the beginning of the year I travelled for almost 3 weeks in Thailand and Laos with this wonderful woman. Recently she asked if she could get a few more portraits of her from a shoot we did in Luang prabang. When I went through the photos again I found several new favorites and I wanted to share them with you.

Great Sunday
I'm very tired but also very happy after finishing my first official workshop in photography today. I was hoping for sunshine but instead it rained a lot. But that didn't stop me or my pupils. I like what mother nature throws at me and today she gave me wonderful colors and a mystic atmosphere. Ina was amazing as always and I could tell that everyone was happy with the result. I plan on having more of these workshops (photographing model in natural light). Next I am booked to teach photography at a bachelorette party, that will be awesome!

"To practise yoga in the deepest sense is to commit to developing awareness by observing our lives: our thoughts, our words and our actions." Judith Lasater
My sister is seven years older than me but sometimes I thinks she is twice that. She has always been so full of great advices and interesting thoughts about life. It's no wonder that she has fallen in love with yoga and that she now also teaches it. Last time I went to see her in the countryside we did yoga together on her lawn and it was wonderful. It's the first time I practice it in nature and it felt very different. There was no cd playing and no walls, just fresh air and the sound of birds.
I made these photos of her for her website that hopefully will be up an running soon. Once it is I will share the link with you here.

Dearest VLORA
It's almost 14 years now since she came into my life. It was the first day of high school and she arrived late to class, giggling loud together with another girl. I remember thinking that she was such beautiful girl but also a total bimbo. She on the other hand wondered who the irritating nerd was who waved her hand vividly when the teacher asked questions. But when we where assigned to work on the same project we understood that there was more to the other one and it was the beginning of a wonderful friendship. For three years she was my constant companion and made life so much easier. We don't see each other often these days but when we do it's like no time has passed. Our love runs deep and I know she is one of those people that will always be there. It's not the first time I take pictures of her, in fact she was one of my first models in high school. It was then I took my first photography class and started to dream of becoming a professional photographer.
This shoot was a very spontaneous one, I could tell that the evening light would be magical so I called her up and one hour later we met in my favorite park in Malmö. I brought some of my favorite boho garments and then we just played around. This is the way I have taken some of my best photos, when I keep it simple. I took a break from the romantic and sheer style for some time but it feels right to return to it. It's time to let the sun back into my life and my photography work.

ASTI
Normally I do more artistically photos of her but this time I was interested in making something commercial. I styled her in some of my favorite garments from the Swedish brands Monki, Weekday and Size 8 Needle. All the photos are taken close to my sisters house in the countryside. It's the perfect place when you feel the need to escape the city.

Happiness will bring you good luck
Most people I know have their vacation during summer but since I am busy with photographing weddings and children during this time I have made it a tradition to make a small trip before it all starts. Me and my lovely friend Karolina decided that Berlin was the place to go. Berlin is a city that I am very much familiar with, I lived there for 10 months 2009-2010. Since then I have returned at least once a year to meet up with friends, eat and drink cheap, experience great art and just inhale the cool atmosphere. We were lucky to have wonderful weather and spent most time outdoors, we hardly slept at all. Sadly some of the friends I wanted to see was not there at the time but that just made room for making new once. It was Karolinas first time in the city and I tried my best show her the reasons why Berlin has a special place in my heart.
On one of the days I got us each a fortune cookie and mine said "happiness will bring you good luck" That seems to be a good motto to keep in mind for the summer that lies ahead of me.
